Fantastic weather conditions and a very competitive field made last Sundays Sail Adventure Curacao Sunfish Race a huge succes. The race which is a national qualifier for the Sunfishworlds Bonaire saw a blood-curdling finish, where Bas van der Gulik narrowly wins from one of his longtime training buddies Darius Berenos on the basis of the tiebreak rules but with as many points. Hans van der Gulik finished third by winning 2 races. Sunfish Sailing Curaçao (CSSA) wishes to thank Daniel Diepeveen and Ivo van Dooren and his team for making the event a huge succes directing the race on shore and in the start/finish boat. 17 sailors showed that the class is alive and kicking and preparing for the International Sunfish Class Association Sunfish Worlds this September in Kralendijk, Bonaire!
