1976 Sunfish Worlds report

Paul Fendler of Rye (NY) won the Sunfish World Championship sailed off Club Puerto Azul, Venezuela. Paul was the 1975 runner-up. The nineteen year old swept the relative light-air series with 1-7-3-1-3-7.

Second place for Mike Catalano.

Derrick Fries, last years champion, finished third.
